About ELTC

East London Theatre Company

ELTC is a community interest theatre company based in Wanstead, reaching audiences across East London.

Entertain · Provoke · Inspire

Community theatre with ambition.

East London Theatre Company is led by director and producer Jonathan Fentiman. Based in Wanstead, it creates bold, accessible productions for audiences across East London.

We are a not-for-profit Community Interest Company. Everything we earn is reinvested in our social purpose: making theatre that entertains, provokes and inspires, while widening access to live performance.

Our work includes DNA (2022), BU21 (2023), Miss Julie (2024), Constellations (2025) and, in 2026, The Wasp by Morgan Lloyd Malcolm at Wanstead Fringe.

01

Access

We work to make live theatre welcoming and accessible, including for wheelchair users, young people, low-income households and audiences with limited access to the arts.

02

New talent

We create opportunities for emerging performers and theatre-makers, including graduates and people beginning their theatre careers.

03

Community

We collaborate with local schools, venues and organisations to bring people together through ambitious live performance.
