Jon Fentiman
Director. Producer.
Artistic Director of East London Theatre Company.
Performance.
Relationships.
Space.
Jon’s particular strength is directing in the round, bringing audiences close to the action while giving every seat a unique view of the performance. He pays careful attention to movement and sightlines, ensuring everyone feels included and drawn into the story.
For Jon, movement can tell a story as powerfully as words. Working closely with actors, he explores how a glance, a gesture, a pause or a change in distance can reveal tension, shift the balance of power or expose something left unsaid. Physical relationships and text work together to bring the emotional life of the play into focus.
