East London Theatre Company creates ambitious theatre that brings people together. Led by director and producer Jon Fentiman, we put compelling performances and the relationship between actor and audience at the centre of our work.

We are a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC), founded in 2025. Our mission is to create ambitious, high-quality theatre and make it accessible to people who might otherwise miss out.

We work to provide free or low-cost performances for students, wheelchair users, people with mobility impairments and people experiencing social isolation. Our venues provide step-free access.

Two women. A proposition. A past that refuses to stay buried. Our production of Morgan Lloyd Malcolm’s psychological thriller placed audiences in the round, close to every shifting glance.
